About Us.
Coffee Exchange seeks to sell only
FAIRTRADE and Rainforest Alliance coffees, teas, juices, fruit,
chocolate, cereal bars, etc. and attempts, as far as possible, to
support ethical and sustainable projects.
We always seek to use local suppliers
where possible.
This exciting project will direct 100% of
all profits back into charitable projects, both abroad and locally in
Dundee. Coffee Exchange is a new business operated by the charity
Capstone Projects, set up in 2002 to help fund projects in Uganda
and Romania. Capstone Projects distributes the profits from the coffee
shop and takes no administrative charges or any other charges from the
monies distributed to the charities.
Here at Coffee Exchange, our FAIRTRADE
coffee beans are roasted locally from green beans and delivered fresh
to the premises where our Baristas grind them and prepare your coffee
to exacting standards. We also serve only FAIRTRADE teas, including
Earl Grey, Organic Green, Green Chai and Decaf teas.
We don't stock soft drinks from the major
corporate companies, only bottled Scottish water, FAIRTRADE Apple,
Orange and Tropical juices, and a range of Innocent fruit smoothie
drinks, which all use 100% pure fresh fruit with no sugar, water or
concentrates added.
We also sell a range of locally produced
fresh filled sandwiches, paninis and baguettes together with fresh
soup of the day and a range of cakes and tray bakes.
Come along and visit us when you are in
the City Centre and through your purchases help some local and
overseas projects.
We are open; Mon-Fri 8am till 4pm and
Saturday 9am till 4.30pm
Coffee Exchange receives no subsidies.
paying full commercial rent and rates, so your support is greatly
